As the player progresses through the sublevels in different Levels and Regions on the campaign, some of the rounds may pose a bigger challenge, for the player will encounter hazards or obstacles in the form of Unique Tiles.
These tiles will apply their effects to any unit standing on them, be it an ally unit or an enemy unit. That way, it is a potential threat for both sides, but at the same time players will be able to think of using them in their favor in their own strategies during a match as well. They will be shown as soon as a new Round begins (Planning Phase).
There will be many types of tiles that can be part of each round in a level, some will damage the player’s units overtime if they are standing on them, some will heal them over time, some may buff or debuff specific classes or factions or they can simply be obstacles that will block those tiles on the board forcing the player to change the positioning and strategies they use on each round, adding a lot more dynamism and depth to the strategic aspect of the game with each level and round offering its own set of challenges to tackle.
